Lust is in the air, everywhere I look around… Sex and shopping, underground thoughts on the underground train, and everywhere capital trying to keep (it) up with desire. Amiga anger about the limits of attraction.
short synopsis
A woman travelling on the undergrond is bedevilled with images of desire. What She Wants wholly created on an Amiga 1500 home computer - is a film about sex and shopping, the social deployment of sexuality, and capitalism in detumesence

Ruth Lingford
short biography
Ruth graduated in animation from the Royal College of Art. Since then, she has directed multi-award winning films for Channel 4 and is currently tutor on MA animation courses at the Royal College of Art and the National Film & Television School.
She collaborated with Shynola on the music video An Eye for an Eye for UNKLE, which won the McLaren Award at the Edinburgh International Film Festival 2002.
