The Animators at Ferens Art Gallery Hull

An exhibition illustrating what it means when fine art - usually the stillest of all the art forms - begins to move. The animations of seven UK artists are on show alongside the other kinds of artworks they make - paintings, photographs, sculptures and live events.
The artists represented are Katy Dove, Paul Morrison, Vong Phaophanit & Claire Oboussier and three who have made animate! commissions Ann Course, Simon Faithfull and Dryden Goodwin.
Curated by Angela Kingston. An Angel Row Gallery exhibition in association with Ferens Art Gallery, Spacex Gallery and LUX. Supported by Art Council England Grants for National Touring, animate! and Illuminate.
