Dryden Goodwin in Conversation at Chisenhale Gallery London
Thursday 2 March 2006 19:00
Flight is Dryden Goodwin’s current exhibition at the Chisenhale Gallery. The installation unpacks his animate! tv commission of the same name (premiered on Channel 4 in December 2005) and includes live action film, animated intervention and a multi-layered soundtrack, alongside hundreds of small-scale pen and ink drawings which also form the animation within the film.
At this hour-long event Dryden is in conversation with Angela Kingston, independent curator and writer with a strong interest in drawing and video. She recently curated The Animators, a touring exhibition including Dryden’s work, commissioned by Angel Row Gallery Nottingham supported by Arts Council England and animate!.
