Animating the City at City Atrium London
Thursday 3 November 2005 18:30
For its first programme at City Atrium, animate! presents a dynamic, diverting, sometimes disturbing but always hugely imaginative exploration of urban lives and locales. Nine diverse films, selected from the ever-expanding catalogue of animate! commissions, reveal fresh perspectives of the city - screened in London’s stunning brand-new arts space.
Following the programme, writer and Time Out film critic Gareth Evans will be in conversation with Ian Bourn Black, White & Green and Daniel Saul The Nuclear Train, discovering what inspires them about living in the metropolis and how they create their deeply personal visions of the city.
